PANDA DIRECT MESSAGING
Coming in March 2019
A closer connection…
When my family members or friends have a medical question, they don’t call their kids doctor, they typically text me. It’s simple, easy and I can often help them out, giving them reassurance, sometimes even saving a visit or an expensive treatment by catching illnesses earlier. In 2013, I began doing this with my patients for free, because I’ve found it delivers a better level of medical care for my patients. They are healthier, happier, and have a little more money in their pockets thanks to the savings that answering simple medical questions by text message provides. I hope you’ve enjoyed this service and found it worthwhile. Understand, that I don’t make these changes lightly and that I’m making them to improve and expand this service. Every doctor and patient in our practice should have the benefit of the close connection I have with so many of you.

What is Direct messaging?
This service offers direct messaging with your pediatrician. Text messaging is for established patients only. It is not an emergency service, messages sent will be answered within 24 hours, directly by your pediatrician.
Currently, Dr. Goodnight, is the only provider offering this within our practice, so for now this service is only for established patients under Dr. Goodnight’s care, however we have plans to offer it for all of our providers that would like to participate within the next year, contingent upon positive feedback from patients and patient demand.
Panda Pediatrics believes that great healthcare is also affordable healthcare. Direct messaging to our patients costs only $5 per month, with an additional dollar per month per extra child up to 3 or more children. There is a start up fee of $25 dollars that you can save by purchasing an annual subscription.
Currently, we are offering an introductory half off of the startup fee or $12.50 from March to April 2019.
This service is starting March 2019 and will initially offer 1000 patient subscriptions. Although if demand is high for this service, more slots will become available in the near future.
